Steps to use prov configuration files for your non-symbian phones:
1. Download the appropriate on for your s40 phone type and network to a different phone or pc.
2. send through infrared or bluetooth to the phone you intend using it on.
Prov files for s40 Nokia (Non Xpress-Music) eg. 3110c:

Download Class Editor to edit the IPs of the various Provs

Creating prov With Your PC
1. Copy the text below without copying any space start with the first to the last .
2. Open NOTE PAD
3. Paste it in a new and blank Note Pad document.
4. You just have to edit only the IP addresses you can see now on bold to any current working one you know
5. Click on "file".
6. Click on "save as".
7. Click on "Save as type".
8. Choose "All files".
9. On "File name" type in the network first and then the IP you used then put ".prov" for easy identification. eg MTN080.132.564.253.prov
10. Click on save.
11. Your prove file is now ready send it to your phone through infrared or bluetooth.

Creating Prov with Class-Editor
Getting Started:
1. Get class-editor installed in your phone.
2. Make sure you have an initial prove file on your phone for the intended network and kind of phone you wish to use it. ie. if you intend making a prove file for mtn for an xpress music phone, you should have a prov file on your phone already that used to work.
NOTE: Our aim is not to create a new prov file but to edit a former prov file to have the latest working free browsing IP.
Making The Prov:
1. Open your Class-Editor
2. Choose the drive directory in which you have your prov. (Mind you, you might have to approve class-editor to show these files, keep saying yes for approval).
3. Choose the prove you intend changing its IP.
4. Now when it opens you'll see something like this:

5. Don't worry just easily scroll right till you get to the IPs. (Now this might be trickish so you have to make sure the black cursor is on the first number that made up the old IP).
6. Now press in your center button.
7. The centre button will bring out a list. ie. HEX, Symbol, DEC, Text.....
8. You should choose Text.
9. Put in the IPs like this: 251.324.124.232
10. Your right key bellow your screen should say more, now press it.
11. Scroll down to OK and Press OK.
12. Tap your button towards right to add your new IPs.
13. Now move (Cover with the cursor) to the first number that made up the old IPs.
14. Tap your delete key gently to swallow(erase) only the old IPs.
15. Press the left key below your screen to show you options.
16. Scroll down to "Save as" and save with a name you can Identify Easily for the network and IP you created it for. eg. MTN251.324.124.232.prov
17. Below your screen, click on more and scroll down to Save.
18. Smille. Good Job.

Making And Downloading Current prov Online
1. visit http://myprov.co.cc
For a non-xpress music s40 nokia phone, manually select your network.
For an xpress music s40 nokia phone, click on advance prov creator when it loads, select doc type access.
Give it a name in respect to the network and IP you intend using eg. MTN080.234.295.117
For your APN Username and password use this defaults
MTN
APN: web.gprs.mtnonline.com
USERNAME: web
PASSWORD: web
ZAIN
APN: internet.ng.zain.com (just of recent it became: internet.airtelwap.com)
USERNAME: internet
PASSWORD: internet
ETISALAT
APN: etisalat
USERNAME: (leave it blank)
PASSWORD: (leave it blank)
2. Input your IP in this format 000.000.000.000(most carry three digits each)
3. Input Port(Usually 80).
4. Click On generate.
5. You can copy the link to download it later or click on zip file and download.
6. You might have to rename the file to .prov for it to be valid. Good Luck. Enjoy.
